Sultan was a terrier that excelled at everything he tried.  He was kind, athletic and a wonderful companion to Sue - his other "Mom".   He will be missed greatly by us all, but will live on through his 'kids' and 'grandkids'.

Sultan is everything we hoped for and more. He is a striking young terrier with personality plus. He has a strong head, good bone and the flexibility necessary for field work. In addition, Sultan has wonderful angulation with good drive from behind, and a wonderful smooth coat with lots of texture. Sue and Sultan are a wonderful team and have now started to compete in All Breed Agility as well.

Sultan has had an outstanding show ring career. Since starting to show at the age of 4 months, he has attended 12 trials under 10 judges. He has been awarded Champion/Best or Reserve at 8 of these trials.

Highlights in 2002 include: Best Open Terrier being awarded to Sultan at two of the three trials he attended. He also earned the Best All Around Terrier award at the JRTCC Regionals, and was Reserve Most Versatile Terrier (over) at the JRTNNC Spring Trial.

In 2003, Sultan attended the Tri State Jack Russell Terrier Trial in Moscow Idaho.  He was awarded the Best Open Terrier under Roma Garon.

From his first litter his daughter - Amblegreen MsMonroe of Aspen Ridge - was Best 4 to 6 month puppy at the JRTCC 2002 Regional Trial. MsMunroe went on to be the Reserve Bitch Puppy and Reserve Canadian Bred Puppy at the JRTCC 2002 National Trial as well.  At the JRTCC 2003 Regional Trial - Missy was awarded the Best Open Bitch and Reserve Open Terrier by Peter Heath (Finland).

In 2004, Sultan has only made it to the Colorado Trial.  He was the Best Open Dog under David Jones and Reserve Open Dog under Terry Petrie.
